Help & Guide

Learn how to create professional letters with LexiLetter, step by step.

How to Create a Letter

1

Click "Sign In" and enter your email address. You'll receive a sign-in link by email — no password needed. Click the link to log in.

2

Describe what you want to write

Click "Create Letter" and describe in plain language what you want to write, e.g. "Cancel my Vodafone contract" or "Complaint to my landlord about mold". The AI will generate a formal letter for you.

3

Review the recipient

The AI automatically determines the recipient address. Review the details and correct them if needed. The address will be printed on the letter in DIN 5008 format.

4

Enter your sender address

Enter your own address. This will be used for the letterhead and return address. Your details are saved for the next letter.

5

Review and edit the letter

In the preview you can edit the subject, body text, and closing. If an attachment is required (e.g. a copy of your ID), check the box — you'll be asked to upload it when signing.

6

Sign and send

Click "Create PDF & Send for Signing". You'll receive an email with a link to digitally sign the letter. After signing, the finished PDF is automatically sent to you by email. Print the letter and send it by post, or forward the email directly to the recipient.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a password?

No. LexiLetter uses Magic Links — you receive a secure link by email each time you sign in. No password required.

Are my letters legally valid?

LexiLetter creates letters to the best of its ability in DIN 5008 format. However, the service is not legal advice. For legally critical matters, we recommend additional review by a lawyer.

What does the digital signature mean?

After creating a letter, you receive an email link to digitally sign it. The signature is embedded directly into the PDF.

Can I edit a letter after creating it?

In the preview (step 4), you can freely edit the subject, body, and closing before sending. After sending for signature, editing is no longer possible.

How does email delivery work?

After signing, the finished letter is automatically sent to you by email — including the letter text and forwarding instructions to the recipient. You can forward the email directly or print the letter and send it by post. You can also re-send the PDF from the dashboard at any time.

What happens when I run out of letters?

The free plan allows 3 letters total. The Pro plan resets to 10 letters every month. You can upgrade to Pro at any time.

How can I manage or cancel my subscription?

In the dashboard, you'll find a "Manage Subscription" button next to your plan. There you can update payment details or cancel your subscription.

In which languages can I create letters?

LexiLetter supports nine languages: German, English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian. Letters are written in the language of your selected interface.
